While many travelers head straight to the Valley of the Kings, the Tombs of the Nobles offer a quieter, more personal experience on Luxor’s west bank. Carved into the hills overlooking the Nile, these tombs belonged to officials, priests, and artisans who served Egypt’s pharaohs during the New Kingdom. If you visit the Ramesseum, you can see the tombs on the side of the mountain across the street.
What sets them apart is the artwork.
