Translate a name or initials into ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs in this timeless oxidized Sterling Silver pendant with sterling silver or 14K gold symbols.
Your traditional pendant will be custom-made, by hand, in the ancient bazaar of Khan el Khalili in the heart of Cairo, Egypt. There are two stamps from the Egyptian government on the pendant, certifying its silver/gold content.
Please enter your name into the personalization box and choose a size based on the number of letters. For names 2-3 letters long, the pendant will be 1.5 inches; 4-5 letters, 1.75 inches and 6-7 letters, 2 inches; 8-9 letters, 2.25 inches.
Includes a hieroglyphic alphabet chart, polishing cloth, and a jewelry box with a velvet bag.
**Production lead time is about 6-8 weeks.** It is worth the wait!
NOTE: You may choose to add extra hieroglyphics if there is room on your cartouche. To do so, please choose from the images below and add the corresponding number or symbol to your name in the personalization box. (Ex. "KATIE6").
If you would like a numeral instead of a special symbol, please contact us before ordering.
We have every cartouche stamped (to verify the metal content) by the Egyptian government before exporting, and this often looks like a flaw to our customers, but it is part of the handmade nature of the product itself. We have no control over where the pendant is stamped or how many times. The stamps are usually on the front and back of the pendant. Please contact us if you are concerned about the stamp or want a certificate to confirm its authenticity.

Wow! This Esty seller is amazing! I am so grateful! I ordered this cartouche for my lawyer niece for Christmas. It was nip and tuck whether it would come in on time! It barely did only because the owner drove to the airport on Dec 23 to pick it up and then immediately shipped it overnight directly to my niece!
