Sustainably crafted in Luxor, Egypt by skilled multi-generational artisans. Crafted to capture the authenticity of the faience beads found in Ancient Egypt, packaged in a hieroglyphic box, and with an information card about scarabs, making it the perfect gift.
The ancient Egyptians believed that the scarab was the earthly manifestation of the god Khepri, and pushed the sun across the sky each day, only to disappear and magically re-appear the next morning. As such, it is a powerful amulet for self-creation, transformation, and rebirth. They were worn or carried by the living, and also buried with the dead to help them on their way to the afterlife. The base was usually inscribed with designs or hieroglyphs to form an impression seal.
