This Egyptian ceramic mummy pendant necklace was made in Egypt. There are accent beads on either side of the ceramic pendant (color will vary). This listing is for one necklace. 

Ushabtis were placed in tombs among the grave goods and were intended to act as servants or minions for the deceased, should they be called upon to do manual labor in the afterlife. They were usually written on by the use of hieroglyphs typically found on the legs. They carried inscriptions asserting their readiness to answer the gods' summons to work.

    Love the color of this little ceramic sarcophagus. However the backside is quite rough so I had to paint some acrylic on it as sanding takes off the finish. Still I love it.
