A different interpretation of our traditional best-selling cartouche pendant, allowing two sides of personalization in Hieroglyphics, English, and/or Arabic.
Handmade to order, in the ancient bazaar of Khan el Khalili in Cairo, Egypt.
Available in the solid style only, in Sterling Silver, 14k, or 18k Gold. You may also order Sterling Silver with 14k Gold hieroglyphs.
Includes a hieroglyphic alphabet chart and a jewelry box with a velvet bag.
**Production lead time is about 6-8 weeks.** It is worth the wait!
NOTE: You may choose to add extra hieroglyphics if there is room on your cartouche. To do so, please choose from the images below and add the corresponding number or symbol to your name in the personalization box. (Ex. "KATIE6").
Please ensure that the length of your name matches the cartouche size.
If you would like a numeral instead of a special symbol, please contact us before ordering.
We have every cartouche stamped (to verify the metal content) by the Egyptian government before exporting, and this often looks like a flaw to our customers, but it is part of the handmade nature of the product itself. We have no control over where the pendant is stamped or how many times. The stamps are usually on the front and back of the pendant. Please contact us if you are concerned about the stamp or want a certificate to confirm its authenticity.

This is the most beautiful piece of jewelry and such great quality I have experienced in quite a long time. The quality is amazing this is not a piece of flimsy jewelry it is solid and it is heavy. This piece was so sentimental to me because it is a family member whose passed away name and the customer service was amazing when I explained the situation they got it to me before Christmas which is even more amazing. I will treasure this piece for the rest of my life and they have no idea how much this means to me. I also got a free gift and I am beyond words with gratitude for that. Ancient Egypt was my loved ones passion, desire, lifelong pursuit. Thank you absolutely so much

I lost a 14kt gold double sided cartouche I purchased in Egypt nearly 10 years ago. This was my favorite piece of jewelry and I was heart broken when I lost it. I researched and found Egyptian Discoveries. Shortly after, I contacted them. I asked if they could recreate my lovely cartouche with one slight change. They did. Their craftsmanship is excellent and they created a detailed piece as I had requested. I am simple elated. I would highly recommend their artistry. I gave myself this cartouche as a birthday present to me. Absolutely love it!

This necklace was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for as a Christmas gift for our daughter. Since it was coming from Cairo, we were concerned that it would not arrive in time but the seller went out of their way to pick it up from the airport and overnight it to us so we would have it in time. This shop had great communication and a quality product, and we would highly recommend them.
