This scarab assortment is perfect for jewelry making or gifting!

Design, size, and color will have variations between each bead. Bead size varies between 8mm long to 22mm. 
These beads come in a mixed bag of 24 pieces. 

The ancient Egyptians believed that the scarab was the earthly manifestation of the god Khepri, and pushed the sun across the sky each day, only to disappear and magically reappear the next morning.  As such, it is a powerful amulet for self-creation, transformation, and rebirth.  They were worn or carried by the living, and also buried with the dead to help them on their way to the afterlife.  The base was usually inscribed with designs or hieroglyphs to form an impression seal.
