Papyrus is a material similar to thick paper that was used in ancient times as a writing surface. It was made from the pith of the papyrus plant.

All papyrus paintings are sent with "rough" edges, easily trimmed to fit your framing needs. Due to the hand-painted quality, the design may vary slightly from painting to painting. The sizing is approximate due to the natural, frayed edges.
