Make-Your-Own Papyrus Kit - Made in Egypt

Perfect for school projects! This kit contains dried papyrus reeds that can be soaked, rolled, and pressed to create a piece of papyrus paper. Includes instructions and a short history of papyrus.

Papyrus is a material similar to thick paper that was used in ancient times as a writing surface. It was made from the pith of the papyrus plant.

  • We recommend adding PVA glue to the water when you soak the papyrus before rolling.
  • **This item comes with the kit only and does not include any props. This is a novelty product and does not always produce a full sheet of usable paper. It should make one 4x6 inch piece of paper.**
  • Ages 12 and up.

Super impressed with this shop! Shipping was fast and packaging was done well. The Papyrus kits are exactly what we’ve been looking for and I’m so happy with the kits, history of papyrus paper, and instructions they came with! My daughter can’t wait to start making them. Thank you so much for the small gift!

Was more involved than anticipated, however a few of the students were determined to complete.
