Egyptian Scarab Box with Lid - Made in Egypt
This handmade polymer scarab box has a matte finish with metallic details. The box has a removable lid. There is hand painted hieroglyphic details around the bottom edge of the box. The bottom of the base is covered with colored felt (color varies) to provide extra protection on you surface. The box was handmade Egypt. As such, it is a powerful amulet for self-creation, transformation, and re-birth. They were worn or carried by the living, and also buried with the dead to help them on their way tot he afterlife. The base was usually inscribed with designs or hieroglyphs to form an impression seal.
