Maat was the ancient Egyptian goddess of truth, justice, and cosmic order, embodying the principles of balance and harmony. She was often depicted with an ostrich feather on her head, symbolizing the weight of truth against which the hearts of the deceased were judged in the afterlife. On the other hand, Isis was a powerful goddess associated with motherhood, magic, and resurrection. She played a central role in Egyptian mythology as the devoted wife of Osiris and mother of Horus, and her worship extended beyond Egypt's borders, becoming influential in various cultures across the ancient world.
